I virtualized my Asterisk installation, but I wanted an FXO port for the Telenet connection.
That was offcourse a problem, I was on CeBit last weekend and I asked at the Grandstream booth if they had
a solution for that problem.
They told me the HandyTone 503 (HT503) was the solution for me, it is an ATA with a FXS and an FXO port.
The ATA can fail-back on a direct link between the FXS and FXO port, but when sip is configured and up the FXS is connected
to your sip server, and the FXO port can be configured as a trunk on your asterisk installation.
That way if your server is offline, at least the one phone connected to the FXS port can still call trough Telenet. (or other if you have other provider)
